We are pleased to announce the arrival of Jada Lewis, PhD and Nikolaus McFarland, MD, PhD as new faculty within the CTRND.
Dr. McFarland comes to University of Florida from Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School where his research focused on Parkinson disease and related synucleinopathies, employing both cellular and targeted viral models of disease.
Dr. Lewis brings her expertise in transgenic mouse modeling and therapeutics for Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Frontotemporal Dementia, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis to UF from Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville.
